Description:
Russian walrus ivory gaming box on bracket feet decorated with a central classical scene in applied bas-relief, enframed by applied scenes of peasant life. Hinged to reveal fitted interior with foliate pierced lids to compartments holding ivory cards, dice, two pins and two brushes, circa 1780.
